Our Story
Each member of the team at Automagic Consulting has been a “car person” for as long as we can remember. From the memory of seeing a Ferrari Enzo in person for the first time to the visceral thrill of riding shotgun around a racetrack in a Porsche 911 GT3, cars are in our DNA.
Being the resident car experts among family and friends, we got asked a lot of questions about cars. Our friends wanted to know which car to buy, how to get a good deal, and where to take cars for maintenance and repairs. We realized that buying and owning a car could be a daunting prospect for those not in the industry and who didn’t spend hours researching and obsessing over cars.
It wasn’t until a friend was trying to buy a used BMW that this realization crystallized. The friend had found what seemed to be a good deal at a local independent dealership. The car had a perfect Carfax, showed low mileage, and was cheaper than anything comparable within 200 miles - a true home run! Or was it?
We insisted that our friend arrange for a pre-purchase inspection with an independent mechanic, just to be sure the car was mechanically sound. Our friend was so glad we did. Despite looking great on the exterior, with perfectly detailed paint, the tires were worn out, oil was leaking in multiple places, and the cooling system was malfunctioning - the mechanic couldn’t believe the car was listed for sale. The repairs alone would have cost several thousand dollars.
After saving our friend from this nightmare, the lightbulb went off. We wanted to provide our expertise to everyone and save people time, money, and hassle. Automagic Consulting was born.

At Automagic, we only work for YOU. Our goal is to get you the best deal possible no matter which make or model it is.
Other car broker services only negotiate price - and require you determine the car and options you want, locate the car on your own, and deal with optional extras by yourself. In our opinion, this is only half the battle - getting a good price on a bad car isn't a good deal at all. That's why Automagic works closely with you to determine the perfect car before we negotiate a price. We also search thousands of listings to find the best available car and deal, saving you hours of time.

We start by working with each client to learn more about them and their needs and wants. We then use our automotive knowledge provide recommendations of makes and models that suit the client. We also advise on whether to buy or lease, buy new or used, and determine the estimated cost of ownership.
If a client is still undecided, we help to schedule test drives of comparable cars to help decide which car has the perfect feel.
Once a client finds the right car, we search thousands of listings to find the best deal, in the right color, with the perfect options. We also review vehicle history reports and service records to ensure a car has been well-maintained.
Finally, we negotiate the best price and walk our clients through extended warranty options and other "add-ons" to determine which are worth the money. All the client has to do is sign the paperwork and buy the car! We can even arrange shipping if the car is out of state.
